Vienna Pride 2021
stay safe, stay proud
with a one-year delay, the 25th Rainbow Parade will now be held on June 19, 2021 as a foot and bicycle demonstration on the Ring.
The demonstration organized by HOSI Vienna for acceptance and the rights of LGBTIQ* people. Because even if the motto is "Stay safe, stay proud", it has become clear just in the last year: Many LGBTIQ people are by no means safe, some not even in their own family. Therefore, more visibility and demonstrations are needed than ever.
For several years, the mdw together with the hmdw in cooperation with queer@hochschulen has been actively involved in the Rainbow Parade and contributes to the Vienna Pride program through various activities.
