Whether it's a concert, festival, or showcase, event management is a skill that must be learned. This practical webinar is aimed at anyone who would like to organize events in the future or who already has some experience in this field.

Using concrete examples, the most important steps on the way to a successful event are examined – from planning and legal framework conditions to promotion and budgeting.

The aim is to avoid typical mistakes, communicate professionally, and feel confident in everyday event management.

In this webinar, the coure lecturer, himself an experienced event organizer with many years of experience in the arts and culture sector, shares his practical know-how.

Course lecturer Rainer Praschak


Rainer Praschak, born in 1973 in Vienna, worked for more than 15 years at the Austrian Music Information Center mica – music austria in Vienna as a project manager and specialist advisor. He has over twenty years of experience as an event organizer and in the music industry, and has led several EU-funded cultural projects, including Tuning In! Routes to a Career in the Music Sector and fair music – the first initiative for fairness and justice in the music business. Today, he runs the music concept store klang recordstore in Mödling and regularly organizes events, including the annual Sturm und Klang Festival.
 

An offer in cooperation with mica - music austria, the Institute for Cultural Management and Gender Studies (IKM) and the Center for Further Education of the mdw.
