One movement from the Cello Sonata by Dr. Alfred Huber (mandatory piece)

A virtuosic piece of your choice (max. 5 minutes)

A prelude by J.S. Bach from Solo Suites No. 4 or 6

Franz Schubert Arpeggione Sonata in A minor, D 821 – I. Allegro moderato

Robert Schumann: Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in A minor, Op. 129
Participants are responsible for organizing their own accompanists.
Prizes 2026:

1st Prize: €1,500 donated by composer Alfred Huber,
as well as a concert performance with the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
on June 4, 2026, at the Philharmonic Hall Teplice, Czech Republic
(performance of Schumann's Cello Concerto in A minor, Op. 129) -
2nd Prize: €1,000 donated by composer Alfred Huber

3rd Prize: €500 donated by composer Alfred Huber

Alfred Huber Special Prize: €500 for the best interpretation of his sonata
