Professor Svetlana Makarova is a renowned violinist who is distinguished by her virtuoso, authentic and radiant style. She is an active participant in the most prestigious festivals
and masterclasses and a successful teacher who has trained numerous competition winners at several international colleges and universities.
On 20th of August 2025, Svetlana Makarova was appointed professor of violin at the Fritz Kreisler Institute and will begin teaching violin as a core artistic subject at our institute on 1 October 2025!!!
