Travel, Accommodation and Visa
Vienna is conveniently accessible from Southeastern Europe, particularly by long-distance bus, with numerous operators offering frequent, affordable, and direct connections from major cities across the region. In addition, shared minivans or ride-sharing shuttles operate regular cross-border routes to Vienna and provide a flexible alternative to scheduled bus travel. Vienna is also well connected by rail via Wien Hauptbahnhof and by air through Vienna International Airport (VIE), both with efficient public transport links to the university and accommodation.

Accommodation

To support participants seeking affordable lodging, we arranged a limited accommodation agreement with Hotel Korotan [https://www.korotan.com/de/index.html]. When making the reservation, please quote the booking code ICTMD2026 to benefit from the negotiated group rate. Additional accommodation options and further information will be added as they become available.
Furthermore, we are exploring the possibility of organizing a student hosting program as an additional low-cost accommodation option. Depending on demand, students from our university may be able to host symposium participants in their homes, offering an affordable stay. Participants who would be interested in this option are requested to contact ictmd2026@mdw.ac.at until July 5. Further information will be provided once we have assessed the level of interest and availability.
Visa
Participants requiring a visa invitation letter are kindly requested to send the following information to ictmd2026@mdw.ac.at until July 5: full name (as stated in the passport), date of birth, passport number, institutional affiliation and position, and country of citizenship.
