Postgraduate studies in Music Therapy at the University for Music and Theatre, Hamburg, Germany. Research associate at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Children and Youth Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf from 2002-2010 and medical director from 2008-2010.
Professor of Music therapy since 2011, Head of the Department of Music Therapy since 2016 as well as Head of the Music Therapy Research Centre Vienna at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2017. Consultant in Child- and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Couples and Family therapist (BvPPF). Deputy Chairperson of the mdw Ethics Commission since 2016. Active in international teaching and lecturing.
