Im Alter von fünf Jahren besucht er den Früherziehungskurs in der Musikschule Wien 10. Gleichzeitig erster Unterricht im Klavierspiel. Mit neun Jahren beginnt er bei Kurt F. Schmid Klarinette zu lernen und wechselt 1994 an die Hochschule für Musik in Wien zu o.Prof. Peter Schmidl. Klarinettenmeisterkurse bei Mag. Kurt F. Schmid. Etliche Konzerte im In- und Ausland sowie Fernsehauftritte im ORF.
1998 1. Preisträger des internen Kammermusikwettbewerbs des Musikgymnasiums. Gesangsstudium bei o.Prof. Wolfgang Bruneder auf der Universität für Musik. Seit 1999 widmet er sich der Wiener G-Klarinette, dem „Picksiaßen Hölzl. Mitglied des „Trio Münzner-Hirschfeld“ und den „Wiener Picksiaß Schrammeln“.
15 Jahre leitete er die Chorvereinigung Stetten. 15 Jahre unterrichtet Herr Hirschfeld an einer Musikschule Klarinette, Gitarre und Schlagzeug und seit 2016 als Lehrer einer Mittelschule die Fächer Deutsch und Musik. Seit 2018 ist er an der Musikmittelschule Regnerweg zusätzlich als Musik-Koordinator tätig.
At the age of five, he attended the early education course at the Vienna 10 Music School, while also beginning his first piano lessons. At nine, he started studying clarinet with Kurt F. Schmid, and in 1994 he transferred to the University of Music in Vienna to study under Univ. Prof. Peter Schmidl. He also participated in clarinet master classes with Mag. Kurt F. Schmid. Numerous concerts in Austria and abroad as well as television appearances on ORF followed.
In 1998, he won first prize in the internal chamber music competition of the Music High School. He studied voice with Univ. Prof. Wolfgang Bruneder at the University of Music. Since 1999, he has dedicated himself to the Viennese G-clarinet, the “Picksiaßes Hölzl.” He is a member of the “Trio Münzner-Hirschfeld” and the “Wiener Picksiaß Schrammeln.”
For 15 years, he directed the Stetten Choir Association. For 15 years, Mr. Hirschfeld has taught clarinet, guitar, and drums at a music school, and since 2016 he has been teaching German and music at a secondary school. Since 2018, he has also served as music coordinator at the Music Secondary School Regnerweg.
