Participation in the ceritificate course "Data Steward"
The mdw is for the second time supporting the participation in the certificate course "Data Steward" of the University of Vienna and will cover the participation fee of a person working in research at the mdw.
The part-time, English-language further training program comprises two semesters and combines the latest findings on the management of research data, Open Science and Open Research with the tasks of data stewards. After completing the course, the trained data stewards act as contact persons in the area of data management at their departments. The project planned as part of the programme is to be implemented at an department of the mdw.

The Research Support can fund the participation of one applicant in the certificate course. In case of multiple applications, the selection criteria of the University of Vienna will be applied.
