PhD
The PhD programme in Folk Music Research or Ethnomusicology is designed to further develop participants’ ability to carry out academic work independently and to train and promote young academics and researchers in the fields of folk music research and ethnomusicology.
In order to start a PhD programme at our Department, the student has to have completed a first degree (diploma, Master's). A connection in terms of content between the chosen subject for the thesis and the completed degree course is desirable.
