Hungary Excursion 2025
Presentation of the ive's international excursion in words, music, and film

In 2025, the excursion abroad of the ive led to Hungary. During a visit to in Orfü near Pécs, atthe border to Croati, Andor Végh and Zsombor Horváth presented traditional musical instruments, among them bagppes, flutes and lutes of the tamburica family. In Budapest after visits and talks in the Institute for Musicology of the Humanities Research Centre, the Liszt Academy and theHungarian Heritage House the famous Táncház (dance house) Festivalwas in the focus. The visit of Budapest was organized by our Hungarian colleagues Dániel Lipták and László Németh.

During the presentation, students oft the ive will present selected topics of the excursion with their impressions and observations. Afterwards, some snacks and wine will be served.
