We are committed to democratic values, equal treatment, and diversity. In the same spirit, we value open communication, transparency, and participation for the further development of the university. We stand for gender equality and inclusion.

INCLUSION in the Erasmus+ Program

Inclusion and diversity are central guiding principles of the Erasmus+ Program. The goal is to enable all students—regardless of social, economic, or cultural background, gender, age, or special needs—to access mobility opportunities. Through targeted measures, the program promotes equal opportunity and helps break down barriers so that as many people as possible can benefit from the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program.

TOP-UPS FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

Erasmus+ students can apply for top-up grants in addition to their regular scholarship to cover special needs or additional costs during their stay. These include, for example, top-ups for students with health issues (provided this results in additional costs abroad), students with disabilities, and students with childcare responsibilities.

The monthly flat rate for the top-up is currently €250 per month (for long-term mobility). For short-term mobility, a one-time payment of €100 is available for an Erasmus+ stay of 5–14 days, and a one-time payment of €150 is available for stays of 15 days or more.

In addition to the monthly top-up allowance, actual additional costs may also be covered upon submission of a corresponding application. Please contact the relevant contact person at the International Office for this.
