Erasmus+ International
Erasmus+ International (International Credit Mobility) is a part of the European Union's Erasmus+ program, enabling student exchanges between European countries and so-called “partner countries” outside of Europe. In contrast to the traditional Erasmus+ programs, which focus on mobility within the EU and associated countries, ICM aims to promote international exchange between EU member states and non-EU countries.
Erasmus+ ICM seeks to strengthen international cooperation in the field of education, improve the quality of higher education, and foster understanding between different cultures.
ERASMUS+ ICM Incoming
Students can study at mdw for a period of 1 to 2 semesters and receive an Erasmus+ ICM scholarship (mobility grant and travel expenses). The amount of support varies depending on the country of origin and the duration of the stay.
At least 3 ECTS credits per month must be completed to meet the scholarship requirements. The academic achievements must be recognized by the home institution after the mobility.
ERASMUS+ ICM OUTGOING
Outgoing study exchanges within the framework of Erasmus+ ICM are only possible in selected countries (so-called high-income countries) and are subject to the availability of the respective budget. For further information, the coordinators will be happy to assist you.
