Eva Königer studierte Elementare Musik- und Tanzpädagogik an der Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg mit dem Schwerpunkt Musiktheorie, Gehörbildung und Elementare Komposition. Weiterbildungen in somatischer Bewegungskunst (Feldenkrais und BMC), Stimme (Roy Hart Theatre, Linklater-Methode) und Theater (Ecole Ph. Gaulier) vertieften die Auseinandersetzung in den Bereichen Musik, Stimme, Körper und Bewegung und ihren Verbindungen.
Ihre künstlerische Arbeit hat den Fokus auf partizipative Projekte und Community Art Projekte. Teilhabemöglichkeiten zu gestalten, sowohl im künstlerischen als auch im künstlerisch-pädagogischen Kontext sind ihr ein zentrales Anliegen. Dieses Anliegen spiegelt sich in ihrer Unterrichtstätigkeit. Sie unterrichtet in unterschiedlichen Praxisfeldern – an der Musikuniversität, an der Musikschule, in Kooperation an der Volksschule und freiberuflich Kinder, Erwachsene, Laien und Profis.
Wichtige Forschungs- und Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind dabei die Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung von elementaren Musizierkonzepten in Kooperationsformen und im interkulturellen Kontext.
Eva Königer ist seit 2011 an der mdw im Fachbereich Elementare Musikpädagogik tätig.
Eva Königer studied Elemental Music and Dance Pedagogy at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, specializing in music theory, aural training, and composition, as well as Composition at the University of Plymouth - Dartington College of Arts, England. Further training in somatic movement arts (Feldenkrais and BodyMindCentering), voice (Roy Hart Theatre, Linklater Method), and theater (Ecole Ph. Gaulier) deepened her exploration of music, voice, body, and movement and their connections.
Her artistic work focuses on participatory projects and community art projects. Creating opportunities for participation, both in an artistic and artistic-educational context, is a central concern of hers. This concern is reflected in her teaching activities. She teaches in various fields of practice—at the music university, at music schools, in collaboration at primary schools, in further education, and as a freelancer – children, adults, professionals and non-professionals.
Important areas of research and work include the implementation and further development of interartistic music making concepts in collaborations and in an intercultural context.
Eva Königer has been working at the mdw in the Department of Elementary Music Education since 2011.
