Geboren 1983 in La Plata, Argentinien, spielte Tomás Floris Guadix seit seiner Kindheit Klavier, Gitarre und nahm an verschiedenen Chorgruppen teil.
Als Erwachsener begann er sein Studium in Argentinien mit Chorleitung und setzte es in Brasilien mit Musikerziehung fort. Auch in Brasilien studierte er Klavier, Popularmusik - Brasilianische Musik und Jazz (Konservatorium in Brasilia). In Wien absolvierte er den Lehrgang für Elementare Musikpädagogik und das Masterstudium für Lehramt Musikerziehung an der MDW, sowie den Lehrgang für Theaterpädagogik im Institut für angewandtes Theater (IFANT).
Unter anderen künstlerischen Projekten nimmt er als Schriftsteller und Musiker an literarischen und interdisziplinären Veranstaltungen teil.
Seit 2016: Lehrkraft an den Musikschulen der Stadt Wien für Elementares Musizieren in Kooperationen mit Volksschulen (ELEMU) und in Kleingruppen für Kinder zwischen 3 und 10 Jahren.
Seit 2021: Lehrauftrag an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien im Fachbereich Elementare Musikpädagogik (Improvisation, Arrangieren und Pädagogik des Elementaren Musizierens).
Born in 1983 in La Plata, Argentina, Tomás Floris Guadix has been playing piano and guitar since childhood and participated in various choir groups.
As an adult, he began his studies in Argentina with choral conducting and continued in Brazil with music education. In Brazil, he also studied piano with a focus on popular music — Brazilian music and jazz (Conservatory of Brasilia). In Vienna, he completed the certificate program in Elemental Music Pedagogy (EMp) and the Master’s program in Music Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), as well as a certification in Theater Pedagogy at the Institute for Applied Theater (IFANT).
Among other artistic projects, he participates as a writer and musician in literary and interdisciplinary events.
Since 2016: Teacher at the Music Schools of the City of Vienna for Interartistic Music Practice in cooperation with primary schools (ELEMU) and in small groups for children aged 3 to 10.
Since 2021: Lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the field of Elemental Music Pedagogy (Improvisation, Arrangement and Interartistic Music Practice).
