Filip Pinczewski ist Absolvent der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, wo er das Studium der Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik (IGP) mit Hauptfach Klavier bei Prof. Manfred Wagner-Artzt mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Er absolvierte zudem die 1. Diplomprüfung in Komposition und Musiktheorie.
Er ist Universitätsassistent und Doktorand am Institut für Musikpädagogische Forschung und Praxis (IMP) der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Im Rahmen seiner Promotion forscht er zu Komponieren und kreativen Methoden im Klavierunterricht. Zudem ist er an verschiedenen Projekten des Fachbereichs beteiligt.
Darüber hinaus engagiert sich Pinczewski in der akademischen Selbstverwaltung, unter anderem als ehemaliger hmdw-Referent im Referat für Gleichstellung und Diversität sowie als Mitglied des Arbeitskreises für Gleichbehandlungsfragen (AKG).
Seit mehreren Jahren ist er als Klavierpädagoge tätig und leitet derzeit eine Klavierklasse an der Regionalmusikschule Kreuzenstein, wo er seit 2021 auch als Klavierlehrer und Korrepetitor angestellt ist.

Filip Pinczewski graduated with distinction in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (IGP), majoring in piano with Prof. Manfred Wagner-Artzt, from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He also completed the first diploma examination in Composition and Music Theory.
He is a University Assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute of Music Education Research, Music Didactics and Practice (IMP) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. As part of his doctoral research, he focuses on composition and creative methods in piano teaching. He is also involved in various departmental projects.
In addition, Pinczewski is engaged in academic self-governance, including his role as a former student representative for Equality and Diversity at the hmdw and as a member of the Working Group on Equal Opportunities (Arbeitskreis für Gleichbehandlungsfragen, AKG).
He has been active as a piano pedagogue for several years and currently leads a piano class at the Regionalmusikschule Kreuzenstein, where he has been employed as a piano teacher and accompanist since 2021.
