Studium Instrumentalpädagogik Schlaginstrumente an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien und Kirchenmusik am Diözesankonservatorium St. Pölten.
In der Zeit von 1991 bis 2003 Schlagwerklehrerin in Böheimkirchen, Ottenschlag und Dobersberg. Seit 2004 Schlagwerklehrerin in Perchtoldsdorf. Von September 2009 bis September 2012 Stellvertretende Direktorin der Franz Schmidt-Musikschule Perchtoldsdorf, seit 2012 Direktorin.
Von 2003 bis 2004 Lehrbeauftragte an der Chulalongkorn University Bangkok für Classic Percussion Instruments und Percussion Pedagogy. Von 2007 bis 2011 Fachgruppenkoordinatorin für Elementare Musikpädagogik, Entwicklung des Klassenmusizierprogrammes „rhythmus.klasse“ und Betreuung der Prüfungsordnung beim Musikschulmanagement Niederösterreich. Von 2011 bis 2017 Lehrauftrag für Lehrpraxis an Musikschulen an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.
Im November 2017 schloss sie ihr Doktoratsstudium ab. Ihr Forschungsinteresse gilt der percussiven Welt Südostasiens (Unterrichtsmethoden, Vielfalt und Einbettung in der globalen Welt), dem Komponisten Franz Schmidt (Umfeld und Schüler:innen), sowie den Organist:innen der Zwischen- und Nachkriegszeit. Eine Biografie über eine österreichisch-britische Organistin ist in Vorbereitung.
Seit Juni 2020 vertritt sie Niederösterreich als Bundesfachbeirätin beim Wettbewerb prima la musica.
She studied instrumental pedagogy in percussion instruments at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and church music at the Diocesan Conservatory in St. Pölten.
Between 1991 and 2003 she taught percussion and from September 2009 to September 2012 she was deputy director of the Franz Schmidt Music School in Perchtoldsdorf.
She became Principal of the Franz Schmidt Music School Perchtoldsdorf in 2012. The Music School has around 1000 students and 50 teachers.
From 2003 to 2004 she was lecturer at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok for Classic Percussion Instruments and Percussion Pedagogy. From 2007 to 2011she worked for the Music School Management of Lower Austria as specialist group coordinator for elementary music education, development of the class music program “rhythmus.klasse” and supervision of examination regulations. Between 2002 and 2004 she received Austrian Government Grants to conduct research in the field of Thai Music. She completed her doctorate in November 2017 (Thai Xylophone - Ranat Ek). Her research interests include the percussive world of Southeast Asia (teaching methods, diversity and embedding in the global world), the composer Franz Schmidt (environment and students), and organists of the interwar and post-war period. Biographies about Austrian British organist Susi Jeans, and the story of Boosra Mahin and his Siamese Dance and Music Group are in preparation.
Since June 2020, she represents Lower Austria as a federal expert advisor (MUSIK DER JUGEND prima la musica).
In October 2023 she became lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW, Institut für musikpädagogische Forschung und Praxis).
