Studium Lehramt Musikerziehung und Mathematik an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien und Technischen Universität Wien (1998-2003).
Unterrichtstätigkeit an Wiener Gymnasien in den Fächern Musik, Mathematik, KOSO (Kommunikation und Sozialkompetenz) und div. Ensemblearbeit. Mitbegründer des theater- und musikpädagogischen Schwerpunkts eSPRiT.
Christian Martinsich arbeitete am IMP von 2015-2024 als Mentor (Lehrauftrag für Unterrichtslehre und fachdidaktische Begleitung der Masterpraxisphase) und ist seit Herbst 2024 als Universitätsassistent im Fachbereich Allgemeine Musikpädagogik am Institut für musikpädagogische Forschung und Praxis tätig. Seit 2025 ist er Mitglied des Instituts für Szenische Interpretation für Musik und Theater (ISIM).

Christian Martinsich worked at the IMP from 2015 to 2024 as a mentor (Unterrichtslehre and subject-didactic support during the master's practical phase) and has been a university assistant at the Institute for Music Education Research and Practice since fall 2024. He is a member of the Institute for Scenic Interpretation of Music and Theatre (ISIM).
