Veronika Mandl studierte Musik- und Bewegungspädagogik/Rhythmik und Instrumentalpädagogik Gitarre an der mdw und Konzertfach Viola da Gamba an der MUK (Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien).
Seit 1998 unterrichtet Veronika Mandl am Institut für musikpädagogische Forschung und Praxis an der mdw in den Fachbereichen 'Elementare Musikpädagogik' und 'Musik im Dialog (Musikvermittlung und Community Music)'.
Als CliniClown unterhält sie seit 2000 wöchentlich Kinder und Erwachsene in Spitälern und Pflegeheimen.
Seit 2001 ist sie als Musikvermittlerin für Institutionen wie z.B. der Jeunesse, dem Musikverein Wien, dem Festspielhaus St. Pölten, Grafenegg, den NÖ Tonkünstlern u. a. tätig.
Im Musikverein Wien inszeniert sie seit der Saison 2007/2008 Agathes Wunderkoffer – ein Konzertzyklus für junges Publikum ab drei Jahren - und spielt die durch das Konzert führende Hauptrolle Agathe.
Für den Abonnementreihe Souvenir für Menschen mit Vergesslichkeit und deren Angehörigen in Zusammenarbeit mit der mdw und der Caritas zeichnet sich Veronika Mandl für die künstlerische Leitung verantwortlich.
Arbeitsschwerpunkte
- Innovative Konzeptentwicklung für unterschiedliche Konzertsituationen.
- Innovative Konzeptentwicklung für diverses Publikum.
- Elementare Musikpädagogik in der außerschulischen Musikvermittlung.
- Elementares Musizieren als Aufbaufach – Entwicklung der musikalischen Ausdrucksfähigkeit ohne instrumentalspezifische Vorbildung aber mit Vorkenntnissen im Elementaren Musizieren.
- Elementares Musizieren und Theater – Entwicklung der musikalischen und darstellenden Ausdrucksfähigkeit.
Aktuelles Musikvermittlungs-Projekt
Veronika Mandl studied Music and Movement Education/Rhythmics and Instrumental Pedagogy (main subject Classical Guitar, specialising in Elemental Music Pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), and Instrumental Performance Viola da Gamba at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna) (MUK).
Since 1998 Veronika Mandl has been teaching at the Department of Music Education Research and Practice in the field of 'Elemental Music Pedagogy' and 'Music in Dialogue (Music Mediation and Community Music)' at the mdw.
Since 2000 she has been entertaining children and adults in hospitals and nursing homes weekly as a CliniClown .
Since 2001 she has been working as a music mediator for institutions such as Jeunesse, Musikverein Wien, Festspielhaus St. Pölten, Grafenegg, NÖ Tonkünstler, Barocktage Stift Melk, and many more.
At the Musikverein Wien she has been staging Agathes Wunderkoffer since the concert season 2007/2008 – a concert series for young audiences from the age of four – playing the main role of Agathe, who guides through the concert.
Veronika Mandl is responsible for the artistic direction of the concert series Souvenir for 'people with dementia and their families' at the Musikverein Wien in collaboration with the mdw and Caritas.
