Studierte Instrumentalpädagogik Klavier sowie Musik und Bewegungspädagogik/Rhythmik an der mdw.
Zu besonderen Schwerpunkten in der Lehre und Forschung zählen die Auseinandersetzung mit Unterrichtsdramaturgie und rhythmisierten Unterrichtsformen, im Speziellen mit dem Kernelement Bilderbuch, weiters der vielfältige Einsatz des Klaviers als Bewegungsbegleitung sowie als improvisatorische Unterstützung in Elementaren Musizier-, Rhythmik- und Klavierstunden.Zu diesen Themen gibt sie auch regelmäßige Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen im In- und Ausland.
Ihr ist es ein besonderes Anliegen durch die Verknüpfung von IGP, EMp und Rhythmik zur positiven Weiterentwicklung dieser Fachbereiche beizutragen, um möglichst vielen Menschen, egal in welchem Alter und mit welchen Voraussetzungen erfülltes Musizieren zu ermöglichen.
Gemeinsam mit Eva Königer gründete sie 2017 im Rahmen der Lehrpraxisgruppen des Zentrum Elementares Musizieren die Young All Stars Band, ein inklusiv geführtes Musizierensemble für 7-18 jährige Kinder.
Als Pianistin, Komponistin und Performerin wirkt sie in Musiktheaterproduktionen für junges Publikum mit, unter anderem bei Agathes Wunderkoffer mit Veronika Mandl. Weiters ist sie Co-Leiterin der Frauentrommelgruppe STiXX, www.stixx-frauentrommeln.at.

She studied instrumental education with a focus on piano, as well as music and movement education/rhythmics at the mdw.
Her teaching and research focus lies particularly on the dramaturgy of music lessons and rhythmized forms of teaching, especially through the core element of picture books. Further areas of interest include the versatile use of the piano as an accompaniment for movement and as an improvisational tool in Elemental Music Making, rhythmics, and piano lessons. She also regularly offers further training courses on these topics both in Austria and abroad.
She is particularly committed to contributing to the positive development of these disciplines through the interconnection of instrumental education, Elemental Music
Education/Interartistic Music Practice and rhythmics—aiming to make fulfilling music-making accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
In 2017 she founded together with Eva Königer the Young All Stars Band—an inclusive ensemble for children and adolescents aged 7 to 18, as part of the teaching practice groups of the Center for Elemental Music Making
As a pianist, composer, and performer, she takes part in music theater productions for young audiences, including Agathe's Magic Suitcase (Agathes Wunderkoffer) with Veronika Mandl. She is also co-leader of the women’s drumming group STiXX (www.stixx-frauentrommeln.at).
