studierte Musik- und Bewegungspädagogik/Rhythmik an der Universität (damals Hochschule) für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien sowie Elementare Musik- und Tanzpädagogik am C. Orff-Institut der Universität Mozarteum im Salzburg. Sie hat eine Zusatzqualifikation in Motopädagogik/Psychomotorik und ist Trägerin des Würdigungspreises des Bundesministeriums für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur für besondere künstlerische Leistungen bei Abschluss des Studiums.
Ab 1996 Unterrichtstätigkeit an Musikschulen und an Bildungsanstalten für Kindergarten-/Elementarpädagogik sowie für Sozialpädagogik in Wien und Niederösterreich.
Seit 2004 Unterrichtstätigkeit an der Musikschule Wien Floridsdorf.
Seit 2007 Lehre an der mdw im Fachbereich Elementare Musikpädagogik.
Als Fachgruppenkoordinatorin für EMP, Rhythmik und Tanz des Musikschulmanagement Niederösterreich (2004-2006) und Fachgruppensprecherin für EMP an Musikschulen in Wien (2007-2021) wirkte sie als Mitautorin 2006/2007 an der Entwicklung und 2018/19 an der Überarbeitung des KOMU-Lehrplans für Elementares Musizieren an Musikschulen mit.
Organisation von und Tätigkeit als Referentin und Vortragende bei:

- fachspezifischer Fort- und Weiterbildung
Sie forschte im Rahmen eines PhD-Studiums (2013-2016, nicht abgeschlossen) zum Thema 'Musik im polyästhetischen Kontext in Kooperation zwischen Musikschule und Schule' und ist Autorin zahlreicher Fachartikel.
Vorstandstätigkeit in der EMP-A (Arbeitsgemeinschaft.Ausbildungsstätten.Austria) und im Österreichischen Berufsverband für RhythmikMB.

Künstlerisch ist sie als Sängerin, Instrumentalistin, Komponistin und Performerin tätig.
Christina Kanitz-Pock studied Music and Movement Education /Rhythmics at the mdw -University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and Music and Dance Education at the Carl Orff Institute of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She holds an additional qualification in Moto Pedagogy/Psychomotorics and is a recipient of the Award of Excellence from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture for outstanding artistic achievements upon graduation.
Teaching Experience:
- In 1996 she started to teach at various music schools and educational institutions for kindergarten/elementary eduacation in Vienna and Lower Austria.
- Since 2004: Public Music School Vienna Floridsdorf
- Since 2007: University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) in the Department of Music Education Research and Practice in the field of 'Elemental Music Eduaction'
Professional Roles:
- As a coordinator for Elemental Music Eduaction, Rhythmics, and Dance at the Music School Management Lower Austria (2004-2006) and as a spokesperson for EMP at various music schools in Vienna (2007-2021), she co-authored the development (2006/2007) and revisioned (2018/19) the KOMU curriculum for Elemental Music Making.
