Zlata Marjanović, born in Beograd 1966. She graduated got her MSc and PhD degree in ethnomusicology at the Academy of Music in Belgrade. Then she worked as a senior lecturer at the College of Music Art in Niš, as a professor of ethnomusicology at the Stevan Mokranjac” High school in Kraljevo and as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethnomusicology of the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka (Republika Srpska). Her areas of interest are: Historical Sources in Ethnomusicology, Applied Ethnomusicology, and changes in traditional music stemming from archaic and contemporary relations, especially within the culture of Boka Kotorska, parts of the Montenegrin coast and continental parts of Montenegro (Kolašin, Cetinje).
