The mdw offers a wide range of study programs. Since not all courses are open to exchange students, the mdw provides specific modules with a selection of courses.
All courses at mdw are conducted in German! For academic subjects, we recommend at least language level B2. For doctoral studies, a C1 level in German or English is required.

GERMAN SKILLS - GERMAN COURSE
All courses at mdw are conducted in German! For academic subjects, we recommend at least language level B2. For doctoral studies, a C1 level in German or English is required.
Please note that no official language certificate is required for the application. The indicated language levels are recommendations only and are intended to help students assess whether they have sufficient language skills to successfully follow the courses.
The mdw offers the German course "Course of Language Competence German" (9 ECTS) during the semester. A place cannot be guaranteed in advance, as students must participate in a placement test (registration required!).

Orchestra for instrumental studies
There are three orchestra formats:

Ensemble Classes for instrumental studies
Places in ensemble classes are limited and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Admission depends on auditions or course-specific requirements, depending on the ensemble format. Please note that participation in an audition does not guarantee a place in an ensemble.

Ensemble Classes for education studies
