Unfortunately, there is no automatic mobility grant for stays outside of Europe. However, you may benefit from some financial relief, as tuition fees at the respective partner university will be waived.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENT GRANT RECIPIENTS
Recipients of a student grant are entitled to receive an additional grant for studies abroad. It is recommended to apply for the foreign study grant in a timely manner. However, the application must be submitted no later than three months after the start of the study abroad. Further information can be found on the Scholarship Office's website.
STUDENT FARES
Austrian Airlines offers special fares for students. These provide additional baggage options and flexible rebooking conditions. The fare can be booked on the AUA website after online verification of student status.
