Marcell Milán Ivony wurde 1990 in Ungarn geboren. Er maturierte im Béla Bartók Musikgymnasium Budapest, wo seine Hauptfächer Klavier und Komposition waren.

Er studierte ab 2008 an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in mehreren Studienrichtungen: Konzertfach Klavier bei Stefan Vladar (2008-2010), Komposition und Musiktheorie bei Martin Lichtfuss (2010-2012), Medienkomposition und Angewandte Musik bei Reinhard Karger (2012-2016; Diplom mit Auszeichnung) und IGP Klavier Klassik bei Leonore Aumaier (2012-2017; Diplom mit Auszeichnung) und Manfred Wagner-Artzt (2017-2019).

Zwischen 2015 und 2017 war er als Tutor im Fach Gehörbildung und Satzlehre an der mdw tätig.

Seit 2017 unterrichtet er Klavier an der Bezirksmusikschule Alsergrund (Stadt Wien - Musikschulen).

Marcell Milán Ivony (alias 'Johnnymarcel') wirkt regelmäßig als Keyboarder, Arrangeur und Musikproduzent in unterschiedlichen popmusikalischen Formationen mit.

Marcell Milán Ivony was born in 1990 in Hungary. He graduated from the Béla Bartók Music High School in Budapest, where his main subjects were piano and composition.

Starting in 2008, he studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in several disciplines:

Piano (concert performance) with Stefan Vladar (2008–2010), Composition and Music Theory with Martin Lichtfuss (2010–2012), Media Composition and Applied Music with Reinhard Karger (2012–2016; diploma with distinction), and Classical Piano Pedagogy (IGP) with Leonore Aumaier (2012–2017; diploma with distinction) and Manfred Wagner-Artzt (2017–2019).

Between 2015 and 2017, he worked as a tutor in aural training and music theory at the mdw (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).

Since 2017, he has been teaching piano at the Alsergrund District Music School (City of Vienna – Music Schools).

Marcell Milán Ivony (alias 'Johnnymarcel') regularly works as a keyboardist, arranger, and music producer in various pop music ensembles.
