Welcome
The Department of Human Resources Management is responsible for the administration of all employment relationships, payroll accounting, the handling of all service and labour law matters, as well as for human resources development at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
As a service facility, we offer support to around 1,400 mdw employees.
We see ourselves as a solution-oriented advisory centre for questions in the areas of human resources administration, human resources accounting, human resources law and human resources development.
We create framework conditions for employees in line with the standards of modern human resources management. By this, we mean addressing questions, problems, and requirements presented to us, professionally and competently, taking the necessary time for the concerns of the employees, while also promoting the training and professional development of mdw members.
mdw-Card
mdwCards are issued by switchboard staff (contact via email at telefonzentrale@mdw.ac.at or by phone at extension 175 and 176). The required photograph can be attached to the email or uploaded to the mdw business card at mdwCard Fotoimport. You will be notified once your mdwCard is ready.
