All publications at mdwPress are published as Diamond Open Access. This means that their quality-assured content is published free of charge for authors and readers under Open Access-compliant licenses. These licenses allow free access to and redistribution of the publications and, where applicable, also permit their further processing. Attribution of the authors of the work and the publisher is always mandatory.
mdwPress is committed to the mdw Open Access Policy and meets all requirements for Open Access publications as outlined in Plan S by research funding agencies (including the FWF). In accordance with these requirements, a standardized and author-friendly publication agreement is established, offering a flexible choice of Creative Commons (CC) licenses.
