Webinar with Aleksandra Bajde

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

POSTPONED!!!

"From STEM to STEAM" is about how "STEM disciplines" (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) can be enriched by the Arts: how artistic methods and perspectives can be a driving force for interdisciplinary project teams to develop a common language that at best enables new insights and perspectives.

Our webinar “Bridging the Gap” with Aleksandra Bajde intends to bring together scientists, artists and others from the partner institutions of the WTZ Ost and West*. First, there will be an interactive introductory session on the notion of interdisciplinarity and its potentials followed by breakout sessions which will focus on the exchange between participants from different disciplines.

The webinar will be held in English and is open to a maximum of 12 participants.

Participants are welcome to suggest ideas to be discussed during the breakout sessions.

Registration is open until April 25th, 2023

Aleksandra Bajde is the Founding Director of the Culture and Sustainability Lab, a composer-performer, lecturer at the mdw and a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Vienna.
