Music Therapy and Neurobiology
Music is created in the mind: in recent decades, neurobiological research has offered insights into the effects of music on the brain and on the rest of the body. These findings are also increasingly important in the context of music therapy practice and research. Therefore, the Music Brain Body Interaction Lab at WZMF - Music Therapy Research Centre Vienna focuses on basic neurobiological research as well as research into the effects of music therapy.
