Interkulturelle Initiative (IKI) Wien – Folkloreverein

The International Cultural Initiative Wien, or “IKI Wien” for short, is a cultural association that has been active since April 2008. The dance group presents traditional Bosnian dances – folklore from Bosnia and the entire Balkans.

The joy of dance, culture and community is at the heart of the group. It offers people of all age groups the opportunity to learn and experience traditional dances together, to keep the cultural diversity of the Balkans alive and to pass it on to the next generations with joy.
Over the years, the group has travelled extensively and had the opportunity to perform at numerous cultural events and festivals in Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, and cities across Austria.
With great passion and pride, IKI Wien will present a selection of traditional dances from the Balkans.
