Students from the mdw and the Harvard Group for New Music come together for open lectures, meetings, presentations, and rehearsals. They get to know one another, discuss different perspectives on contemporary music, and exchange ideas about their compositional work. As part of joint workshops with the musicians from airborne extended, composition students from the mdw develop new works that will be presented in this concert.
