As part of her residency with the Webern Ensemble Neue Musik at the mdw, Rebecca SAUNDERS will be the guest of honor for a public discussion and Q&A. Rebecca Saunders is one of the most prominent contemporary composers on the international scene. Her works are performed worldwide by leading ensembles, soloists, and festivals. In 2019, she was awarded the Ernst von Siemens Music Prize. 

The event offers students and interested members of the public the opportunity to engage in conversation with Rebecca Saunders about her work, her creative process, compositional strategies, and current artistic projects.

The event is designed as an open Q&A session.
All interested parties are warmly welcome.
