The specific range of courses offered in the »Gender Studies Electives« is integrated into the curricula (mandatory electives, free electives) and brings together mdw’s expertise in gender studies. Its aim is to support the acquisition of gender and diversity competencies. Students learn to recognize and critically reflect on dimensions of gender and diversity, to sharpening their awareness of the socio-political impact of their artistic, academic, and pedagogical activities.

The following selection of classes is compiled by the GGD in cooperation with the International Center for Gender and Performativity (ICGP) at the beginning of every semester.
