As a feminist community of practice, it serves as a source of inspiration and knowledge for activities and projects at the mdw, as well as a forum for members to exchange ideas and network with one another.
Chaired by VRin Gerda Müller, the GGD curates, organises and moderates three meetings per academic year. Expertise is shared through impulse presentations by the GGD, externally led workshops, reports from the rectorate and presentations by members.
The Plattform Gender_mdw is composed of the gender representatives of the institutes at the mdw, who are nominated by the institutes, as well as interested and committed colleagues from the administration.
