Webern Symphony Orchestra

The Webern Symphonie Orchester is rooted in the long tradition of the mdw  – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, originally founded in 1817 as the "Conservatory of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde". 

The mdw regards itself as a university combining future with tradition - the Webern Symphonie Orchester (WSO) is the artistic culmination of this motto.

Future-oriented instruction coupled with an understanding of the traditional Viennese sound that is so highly appreciated the world over.
