Participatory Opera and Music Theatre

From 24-26 February, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna hosts an intensive three-day SIMM research seminar bringing together socially engaged practitioner-researchers from the field of participatory music theatre and opera. It takes place in collaboration with the Academic Chair Jonet / CESAMM (Ghent), the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) and the research platform SIMM. The participants will exchange research, experiences and methodologies developed in diverse participatory, social and community contexts.

During this concluding public event, some of the central questions and insights that emerged from the seminar will be presented and discussed by members of the scientific committee.
