The fifth edition of what has now become Vienna’s largest competition for opera singers once again saw over 120 participants from all over the world gather at Schlosstheater Schönbrunn.
Over 250 candidates registered for the competition’s 15th edition.
It was a brilliant concert by the prizewinning ensembles at MuTh that topped off the internationally renowned Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition.
The award, worth € 10,000, went this year to the young saxophonist Marko Dzomba.
At age 29 she made her debut at the Vienna State Opera as Aida – Hilde Zadek will be celebrating her 100th birthday on 15 December 2016.
