Thursday, 7 October 2021, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Where?
mdw-Campus, Anton-von-Webern-Platz 1, 1030 Vienna (at the former mdw test station)
How?
You don't need an appointment!
Please bring a valid photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license)) and a vaccination pass (if you don't have one, you can get one free of charge at Viennese pharmacies). There will also be plenty of vaccination passes available on site. The vaccination will take about 25 minutes per person in total.
Which vaccine will I get?
You can choose on site between the vaccines made by Johnson & Johnson and Biontech/Pfizer . Information on each vaccine can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health.
Who can be vaccinated?
All mdw members (students, teachers, administrative staff) who would like to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, but also relatives and friends. The vaccination campaign is open to everyone.
Who is conducting the vaccination campaign?
This is a vaccination campaign of the City of Vienna - employees of the Samaritan Federation and the Green Cross will carry out the vaccination at the mdw Campus.
Please don't forget your FFP2 mask as well as a current PCR test certificate when you enter a building of the mdw.
I am still unsure whether to get vaccinated - what can I do?
On 4. October 2021 the mdw offered a Zoom vaccination consultation session exclusively for mdw members with molecular biologist and "Science Buster" Martin Moder, who answered questions about the vaccination. The session was held in German and can be watched on demand here.
You cannot attend the two vaccination days at the mdw and would still like to be vaccinated?
Here you can find more free vaccination opportunities offered by the City of Vienna, which you can use easily and withouth an appointment.
