Formed in 2023, Quartetto Pegreffi is one of the most promising young ensembles on the Italian chamber music scene, named in tribute to Elisa Pegreffi, legendary second violinist of the Quartetto Italiano.
They hold top honors from the Premio Amici della Musica di Verona Premio AMUR,  Premio Alberto Burri, "Massimiliano Antonelli" Competition, alongside being selected for the last Trondheim and Bad Tölz international competitions. The quartet performs regularly for prestigious European institutions, including the Società del Quartetto di Milano, Festival delle Nazioni, Brahms Festival Lübeck, and Società dei Concerti di Parma.
The ensemble earned a second-level Master's Degree with highest honors at Conservatorio 'Arrigo Boito' in Parma under the Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi. They have studied at the Accademia Stauffer with Quartetto di Cremona, at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Heime Müller, and currently attend the Ébène Quartet Academy in Munich. They attended master classes with Günter Pichler, Vera Martínez Mahner, Kyril Zlotnikov, Luc-Marie Aguera.
