The Trouvaille Trio was founded in 2024 and has been studying since then under Prof. Angelika Merkle at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK Frankfurt). 
In the same year, the trio was awarded the Second Prize at Chamber Music Competition of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft in Frankfurt and received a scholarship to perform in the ?Voraushören? concert series. Further concert engagements followed in November and December 2024 with the Association for the Promotion of Chamber Music and Young Musicians in Frankfurt am Main.

The name ?Trouvaille? is French for a ?lucky find? or ?serendipitous discovery.? It reflects the ensemble?s artistic philosophy: the joy of uncovering new musical insights, the delight of rare and expressive repertoire, and the unique chemistry that brings these three musicians together. The Trouvaille Trio embodies the sense of encountering something exceptional and inspiring in every performance.
