40. DVSM-Nachwuchssymposiums: «Critical Musicologies: Zwischen Kanonizität, Lehre und künstlerischer Praxis»
Each year, the German Association of Musicology Students (DVSM) organises a symposium for young scholars, inviting students to submit proposals for its conception and implementation. For the 40th DVSM Young Scholars Symposium, the conference concept submitted by Musica Inaudita, titled «Critical Musicologies: Zwischen Kanonizität, Lehre und künstlerischer Praxis», was selected. The symposium will critically examine canons in concert and music programmes, particularly in musicology, thereby engaging in a critique of canons and pedagogy.

Deadline: June 30, 2026
