Should the arts and cultural world try to tackle climate change? What role can it play in raising awareness of environmental issues? Who in the arts and cultural world should act? What should they do? And what’s holding us back?

 

Sam Goldscheider

has led the orchestras department at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland since 2016, one of the world’s largest classical music festivals. In 2019, he launched the Verbier Festival’s “Green Project”, and in 2022 he founded Harmonic Progression, a not-for-profit organisation aimed at inspiring climate action in classical music.
