mdw Research Strategy
In June 2020, the mdw's research strategy was adopted by the rectorate.
This was preceded by a broad participatory process that led to the formulation of 11 strategic goals and fields of action for research at mdw:

- Strengthening Internationalisation and Cooperation
- Promoting and Sustaining Career Development
- Demonstrating Commitment to Anti-Discrimination
- Expanding Research-Led Teaching and Study Programmes
- Establishing and Safeguarding Quality Assurance
- Enabling Knowledge Transfer and Promoting Accessibility of Results
- Acquiring and Securing Research Funding
- Taking Responsibility Seriously
