6. Mauricio Kagel Composition Competition 2025

The 6th Mauricio Kagel Composition Competition took place from 4 – 7 February 2025. The aim of the competition is the creation and dissemination of new piano works for children or young people.
From 200 pieces submitted from 50 countries, a distinguished jury nominated the pieces for the final, which were performed by students by students of the Ludwig van Beethoven Department of Piano in Music Education.
