Der FWF hat die Bewilligungsquoten der Forschungsstätten 2020-2024 veröffentlicht, die ein erfreuliches Bild für die mdw zeigen: Sowohl nach Anträgen (25,6%) als auch bezogen auf die Antragssumme (23,9%) liegt die mdw über dem statistischen Mittelwert von 23,1% bzw. 20%. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich für die erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit in den vergangenen Jahren und unterstützen Sie auch in Zukunft gerne bei der Antragstellung! Mit großer Freude gratulieren wir ebenso Ioannis Christidis (Music and Minorities Research Center) zum Erhalt des Post-DocTrack Fellowship der ÖAW. Darüber hinaus konnte die mdw zum ersten Mal im Rahmen ihrer Mitgliedschaft bei CLARIAH-AT am Call für Förderungen für Kleinprojekte teilnehmen und war gleich mit zwei Einreichungen erfolgreich:
Diese Projekte werden einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung der Digital Humanities an der mdw leisten. Die Bewerbungsfrist für das Mentoring-Programm „Reach higher, reach beyond“ – speziell für Prae- und Postdocs der mdw (Frauen, inter* und nicht-binäre Personen) – wurde verlängert: Neue Deadline ist der 25. Mai 2025. Im Universitätsverlag mdwPress ist eine Stelle im Bereich Verlagskoordination und Open Access neu zu besetzen. mdwPress steht für innovative, qualitätsgesicherte wissenschaftliche Publikationen in klassischen wie digitalen Formaten und wird gemeinsam von der Universitätsbibliothek und der Forschungsförderung betrieben. Wir freuen uns über Ihre Bewerbung bzw. die Weiterleitung der Ausschreibung an Interessierte. Kürzlich wurde das Perspektiven-Paket des Österreichischen Bundesministeriums für Forschende aus den USA vorgestellt. It is also with great pleasure that we congratulate Ioannis Christidis (Music and Minorities Research Centre) on receiving the Post-DocTrack Fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. In addition, the mdw was able to participate in the call for funding for small projects for the first time as part of its membership in CLARIAH-AT and was successful with two submissions:
These projects will make an important contribution to the further development of Digital Humanities at the mdw. The university publishing house mdwPress is looking to fill a position in the area of publishing coordination and open access. mdwPress represents innovative, quality-assured academic publications in both traditional and digital formats and is operated jointly by the University Library and the Research Support Office.
