Masterclass with Andreas Martin Hofmeir

Tuba player and Echo Klassik prize winner at the mdw

On Wednesday, 25 March 2015 Andreas Martin Hofmeir is to visit the mdw. Hofmeir is a professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and an internationally renowned Tuba solist. He will give a masterclass and perform a recital afterwards at 6pm.

After several awards at international competitions (Markneukirchen, Cittá di Porcia, Preis des deutschen Musikwettbewerbs) and an engagement at the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, he started a career as a Tuba solist and as an instructor in Salzburg. Having been a member of "LaBrassBanda", he became known by a large audience.
