Green Meeting
We would like to certify this event according to the guidelines of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings and Green Events. To achieve this, we are taking many visible and invisible measures.
We would be delighted if you would approve of these endeavours and also support them from your side.
- Use public transport, cycle or walk.
- If you cannot do without a car or if you are travelling by plane, you can offset the resulting CO2 emissions through compensation payments.
- If possible, please opt for an environmentally certified hotel (Austrian Ecolabel, European Ecolabel, EMAS, etc.). We have labelled these for you in our hotel offers.
- Take advantage of the environmentally friendly services offered by your hotel (change towels and sheets only when necessary, etc.).
- Switch off all lights and electronic devices (TV, air conditioning, heating, computer, etc.) when you temporarily leave your hotel room.
- Reusable is environmental protection: favour open drinks, food on crockery, milk and sugar without portion packaging, etc.
- Dispose of your waste (PET, glass, paper, metal, batteries, etc.) via the separate collection offered at the event.
- If possible, use online registrations or digital materials instead of paper printouts/handouts.
- Use 100% recycled paper or chlorine-free bleached paper (TCF) for necessary printouts.
- Use your own writing utensils.
- Hand in your badges / name badges at the information desk at the end of the event.
