FAIR organising
The mdw is one of the largest cultural organisations in Austria. All events such as concerts, theatre performances, conferences, meetings, etc. are an important part of our university.
At the same time, they consume material and immaterial resources and have a not inconsiderable ‘ecological footprint’, especially in the areas of energy, mobility and catering.
As mdw, we endeavour to organise our events as well as any meetings and sessions as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible.

Green Meetings
The mdw has been certified with the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings (UZ 62) since 2017 and can therefore organise events at the campus as Green Meetings.
This well-known seal of quality sets an example and makes your commitment visible.
However, certification only makes sense for major events and requires long-term planning!
