Albéniz Trio was founded in 2018 at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, under the tutelage of Günter Pichler, Márta Gulyás and Heime Müller.

 

They have obtained the ?Jeunesses Musicales? Prize, the 1st prize in the ?Antón García Abril? International Competition, the 1st Prize and the ?Arthur Rubinstein? Special Prize in the ?Kiejstut Bacewicz? International Competition and the ?Ensemble Emergente? Prize of FestClásica in Spain.

 

The trio has performed in venues such as the Sony Auditorium, Fundación Juan March, Rubinstein Filharmonia, Schloss Johannisberg or Tauberphilarmonie. Likewise, the trio has been part of the Rheingau Musik Festival, Hohenloher Kultursommer, Granada International Music Festival and Quincena Musical de San Sebastián in Spain.

 

Albéniz Trio has worked with artists such as Quatour Ébène, Péter Nagy, Marianna Shirinyan, Cuarteto Casals and Matthew McDonald.  In addition, they are part of the chamber music chair at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater" in Munich, Germany, where they work with the pianist Dirk Mommertz and the Quatour Ébène.
