Science communication

Science podcasts, citizen science projects, transdisciplinary Art & Science Hubs, public events such as the Long Night of Research or the work of researchers as science ambassadors in schools have one goal in common: to communicate topics and challenges in research outside the university in a target group-oriented way. The disciplines represented at the mdw and their methods are made visible and brought into new contexts and expanded through the inclusion of different target groups.

The Research Support Office serves as an information hub and interface in the areas of science communication and knowledge transfer. We offer needs-oriented advice and training and provide information on events and current funding opportunities.

We are happy to support you with your project, please contact us: forschungsfoerderung@mdw.ac.at
