Liebe Kolleg:innen, Wir freuen uns, zu Beginn des Wintersemesters zahlreichen Forschenden zu Erfolgen gratulieren zu können, darunter zu mehreren neu bewilligten FWF-Projekten:
Des Weiteren möchten wir auch zu folgenden Fördergenehmigungen über die Kulturabteilung der Stadt Wien (MA 7) gratulieren:
Unser Glückwunsch geht auch an Elisabeth Reisinger (Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Interpretationsforschung), die im Juli mit dem Edith-Ennen-Wissenschaftspreis des Landschaftsverbandes Rheinland für ihr Buch „Musik machen – fördern – sammeln. Erzherzog Maximilian Franz im Wiener und Bonner Musikleben“ ausgezeichnet wurde. Ebenso möchten wir Hannah Riedl (Institut für Musiktherapie) und Montserrat Pamies-Vila (Institut für musikalische Akustik und Wiener Klangstil) zu ihren erfolgreichen Beiträgen in der Wissenschaftskommunikation gratulieren. Ihre Erklärvideos – „Die Macht der Musik. Musiktherapie erklärt“ und „What is this sound?“ – zeigen eindrucksvoll, wie kreativ und zugänglich Forschung an der mdw vermittelt werden kann. Künstlerische Forschung: Das Artistic Research Center hat das mdw-Portal auf dem Research Catalogue (RC) gestartet – der internationalen Plattform der Society for Artistic Research (SAR) zur Publikation und Dokumentation künstlerischer Forschung. Das Portal präsentiert die künstlerische Forschung an der mdw und bietet einen offenen Raum für den Austausch innerhalb der AR-Community. mdw-interne Ausschreibungen:

Their explanatory videos – ‘The Power of Music: Music Therapy Explained’ and ‘What is this sound?’ – impressively demonstrate how creative and accessible research at the mdw can be communicated. Artistic research: The Artistic Research Centre has also launched the mdw portal on the Research Catalogue (RC) – the international platform of the Society for Artistic Research (SAR) for the publication and documentation of artistic research.
